Andrew Dalsass
I am a Creative Director with a love for storytelling and a passion for what’s possible.

As a Creative Director with over 15 years of experience in agencies,
in-house, and PR firms, I expertly balance visuals, copy, strategies, and insights to articulate brand voices and how people engage with them. Besides my beautiful children, my greatest joy is leading creative teams and making their work conceptually stronger and successful.

Throughout my career, I’ve consistently delivered results that exceed market expectations by fostering innovative thinking, bringing humanity into technology, and empowering creative and business teams. My forte is video, social, and experiential activation. 
At Prudential, my team and I led the creative for many of Prudential’s most influential U.S. business products such as life insurance, retirement, Prudential Advisors, and FlexGuard annuities, which made $10 billion in the first two years.

My passion for multicultural marketing and CSR takes center stage. My team led marketing efforts, social media campaigns, and many of Prudential’s highest-profile sponsorship activations. We created broadcast spots and also partnered with McCann and Droga5 to pull brand work through many marketing initiatives.

Earlier in my career, I held Creative Director positions at Havas, Edelman, Burson and Leo Burnett. I’ve worked at McCann New York, Kirshenbaum, Bond & Partners, and Carmichael Lynch in Philadelphia. I’ve also freelanced at Deutsch LA, FCB New York, Y&R Irvine, to name a few.

I’ve won over 10 gold FCS awards, including 2023 ’Best in Show’ for an LGBTQIA+ campaign called ’Breaking Barriers,’ a Cannes Lions: Shortlist,  Effie Awards, Addy’s Gold, Communication Arts, The One Club-finalist, Obie Award (OOH), International Echo Award, Luerzer's Archive, Print Magazine, Creativity, Adweek Best Spots, AdCritic Spot of the Day, New York Times, and a James E Burke Award.

As my career has evolved, it’s been profoundly fulfilling to work on brands or with clients who think about connecting more with their audiences and strongly desire to impact their community, particularly underserved ones, positively.

My work at Edelman, and more recently, as a Creative Director at Prudential, has allowed me to lead the creative for projects such as YouthBuild, Blueprints to Black Wealth, NY Red Bulls Unified Special Olympics Team, The Diverse Content Series, and the Pinky Cole Square 1 Foundation. I’ve spearheaded Prudential’s work for cultural months, like PRIDE, Women's History Month, AAPI, HHM, etc., demonstrating a strong focus on underserved communities.

My journey in the creative field began with a B.A. in Communication Arts & Design from VCU in Richmond, VA. I love art, the outdoors (hiking and trail running), music (I’m a snob), hoops, and soccer.
